My experience one the stearman biplane was really fun and amazing! The pilot was very welcoming, knowledgable, and willing to answer any questions I had. I felt safe and enjoyed every second during the flight. I have recommended it to multiple people.

Hey Labinot, thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us! It sounds like you had a real blast while also feeling safe and well informed during your flight. And now you get to tell everyone you know that you've actually flown a WWII biplane - that's pretty cool if you ask me! Cheers, Kelsey
Truly great! The plane was beautiful and the pilot was nice as he could be! Great information and fun ride!
This was a absolutely great experience. The aircraft is in outstanding shape inside and out. The pilot, David, is great, as he gives you easy to understand instructions. The aircraft is fun to fly and really maneuvers like a dream. David even took the controls and did some flying of his own, demonstrating how nimble the Stearman is to fly. No wonder the Army Air Corps. Used these planes as trainers. I would recommend this experience because you get to fly, look over the beautiful area of Warrenton, and just get a bit of history about WWII aircraft training. Big thanks to David!!!!

Hi Alan, thanks so much for the raving review and for taking the time to write in about your experience! We're so glad you had an absolutely great experience and that you got the chance to fly with David - he really is an amazing pilot with so much knowledge to share. I will be sure to pass along your kind words to our pilot, David for you. We hope to see you back again soon for more fun and adventures! Best, Kelsey
AWESOME!!! SUPER!!! FANTASTIC!!! WOW!!! This was one of those experiences of a lifetime. My kids got me this ride as a birthday present. I used to fly as a non-pilot for the Air Force. I've flown with friends a few times in small aircraft. I have many years of flying computer flight simulators. This was a crowning experience to be able to take control of a real plane and do some basic maneuvers. The plane just gleams. It is a testament to Dave Brown's love of flying and his love of sharing that with others. Compared to others it is a Cadillac (or Mercedes) - very solid. Dave is very personable and provides history and stories of his flying this historic aircraft. He goes into detail on the controls, instrumentation and flight characteristics based on his perception of your flying knowledge. He exudes the love of flight. This experience is more than well worth it for anybody that has the slightest love of flying!

Hi Alan, we are so glad you had such an AWESOME time and thanks so much for sharing with us we hope to see you back again soon for more experiences of a lifetime!
This was a bucket list event for me. As a boy standing in my backyard i used to watch Stearman Biplanes based at a local airport do acrobatics. I would become an attack helicopter pilot in Vietnam. While doing the acrobatics added a new flying experience, I was right at home with the low level flying. What a great experience.

Hi Ron, wow thanks for sharing your amazing story! We are thrilled you had such a great experience and that we got to help you cross off another Bucket List item. We hope you can cross off more items with us soon. Best, Kelsey
This was a truly memorable experience. The conditions were perfect. David inspired confidence as a pilot and instructor. He was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Getting to actually fly the plane for a while in a controlled manner was nerve wracking but tremendous fun; the wing-overs, low passes, stalls and dives that David then did were an exhilarating bonus. It all went by too fast. Highly recommended for anyone who likes planes or WWII history. Or Both!

Thanks for taking the time to share your memorable experience with us, Gavin! David is definitely an amazing pilot AND instructor, I will let him know how much you enjoyed the experience. We hope to see you back again for more adventures! Cheers, Kelsey
Everything was great! The Pilot was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped my dad have the best time flying. I highly recommend giving this as a gift to anyone.
I soared! It was an amazing experience. Facebook friends came out of the woodwork in awe! Pilot Dave wanted nothing more than to provide a great time in the sky - and he did.
The 30-minute biplane ride was terrific! I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift and he loved it. David of Stearman Biplanes was so friendly, and took the time to tell him lots of great history and technical information about the plane. Everything felt safe, fun, and exciting! The only downside is that it all went by too quickly. My husband said 30 minutes was a great length of time for a ride - he could have gone another 10-15 minutes but said 60 didn't seem necessary. Thanks to David and all at Stearman/Cloud 9 for an easy booking and gifting experience! We already recommended it to friends who are eagerly looking into it.
I bought this my boyfriend , who has everything and anything , He had the best time, it was a surprise birthday gift. When he saw where we were and what he was doing. He was like a little kid. He told me , it was the best gift he had ever received, Dave our pilot was amazing. I screwed up the dates and called and asked if if there was anyway we could come the date I THOUGHT was the day. He was so accommodating and was able to fit us in , so a big shout out to Dave for being such a great guy.
I was gifted this flight by my sister because she knows how much I love planes, especially the ones my grandfather flew. I ended up paying extra to do the premium package for the aerobatics and it was outstanding! Dave is a friendly and excellent guide. He walks through the safety protocols and guides you throughout the entire experience. We were chatting on the radio throughout the adventure about the scenery and maneuvers. I would highly recommend this adventure to any thrill seekers, anyone looking to ride in a piece of history from WWII, anyone looking for new perspectives on familiar landscapes, and for an eye-opening, soul jumping, hell of a good time. Dave was an excellent and safe pilot and this adventure exceeded my every expectation. Thank you Dave!
David was awesome and the ride was great. Been too long since I have been in the cockpit and it made me realize how much I miss flying. David is a great pilot and tour guide, highly recommended!

Good Afternoon Spencer!  I hope you have had a fantastic week so far! Thank you for taking the time to share your flight with us! I am so glad David was able to bring back the great memories you share with flying! Also these beautiful air crafts are hard not to get nostalgic about, and they definitely add such a special flare to this amazing experience. I do hope we see you again for another blast from the past moment and just to get you back up in the clouds! Thanks again for sharing your memories with us! All the best,  Chelsea
I am a 60 year old male, golfer, theatre-goer and not what I would say "a thrill seeker." That changed with my birthday gift from my daughters. I must say that I was a bit hesitant to try this adventure, however, being a WW2 enthusiast I couldn't wait. On arrival at the airport, we were greeted very warmly and when our pilot turned up it was magical. Dave explained all about the history of the plane and made me feel that I could and would trust him with my life! After putting on the parachute and easing into the cockpit, headphones and all, we were soon in the air. The feeling was magical and Dave made me feel very much at ease as we soared to 2000ft. After about 30 minutes of flying and talking all the time about the plane and the surroundings etc, it was my turn to fly the Stearman. I was at first excited and then I was astonished at the sensitivity of the plane. I felt it was a constant concentration and hand work on the stick to keep it level! Hats of to Dave as I informed him 5 minutes later when I asked him to take back the controls. We then did three aerobatic maneuvers! Wow,wow and wow! If anyone reads this, I can only say that whilst you have time on this Earth, this is a must experience! Dave was absolutely brilliant and I cannot thank him enough and the Cloud 9 Living team for putting on a spectacular experience. Thank you to you all and my daughters for "making me do it." It's a must!
The entire biplane ride was a fantastic experience! Dave tailors his instruction precisely to the rider's flying background. As a retired Air Force fighter pilot and current airline Captain, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Dave and his Stearman! I highly recommend this experience for the aviation enthusiast or anyone who has a curiosity of flying!
Instructor was great! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and full of enthusiasm for his flying hobby. Would recommend everyone try this!
Dave was wonderful! Even when he experienced a problem with the plane, he worked it out an fulfilled my husband's trip. Friendly and fun, he obviously loves sharing flying his plane with others.
Thrilling and checked off a bucket list item. Would go again.
