    What To Wear
    We recommend casually stylish attire such as nice pants or jeans, polos, button-down shirts, and sundresses or skirts. Although allowed, we strongly discourage t-shirts, casual jeans, shorts, and sneakers.

    For this experience, our partners are taking extra measures to prevent any potential spread of COVID-19. In those jurisdictions where it is required, all guests over the age of 18 are required to provide their full name and email address prior to boarding the vessels. Guests who self-report they are experiencing any symptoms indicative of COVID-19 will not be permitted to board our partner's vessel. All guests ages 3 and older are required to wear face coverings at all times while on board our vessels, except while dining, unless exempted by the local health authority. Our partners request that each guest face mask fully cover an individual’s nose and mouth and allow the guest to remain hands-free. They also require that the mask fit snugly against the side of the face, be secured with ties or ear loops, and be made of breathable material. Guests who do not have a face mask will not be permitted to board the vessel. If you have travelled internationally in the last 14 days, the CDC advises that you should stay at home and avoid contact with others. Additionally in those jurisdictions where it is required, guests will undergo temperature screening prior to boarding. Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 F or above will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.

    What type of food will be served?

    The cruise features all-you-can-eat dinner buffets with delicious choices prepared on board by the executive chef and their galley staff. With advance notice, special meals for guests with allergies can be arranged.

    What is the dress code?

    For evening cruises, we recommend casually stylish attire such as nice pants or jeans, polos, button-down shirts, and sundresses or skirts. Although allowed, we strongly discourage t-shirts, casual jeans, shorts, and sneakers. 

    What is boarding and departure time?
    Boarding time is when guests are able to board the ship. Departure time is when the ship leaves the dock. Boarding occurs 30 minutes prior to departure.
    Are there any age requirements?
    Children are welcome on our and children under 3 years old cruise free. Please inform Cloud 9 Living at the time of booking if you will be bringing additional guests under 3 to ensure seating.
    Where does the cruise go?
    Ships cruise past many historic sites along the Patapsco River including the USS Constellation, Federal Hill, Ft. McHenry, Light Ship Chesapeake, The Sanctuary, The John W. Brown and Fells Point.
    How do I get to the ship?
    The ship is docked at the Inner Harbor along the west wall located between the Maryland Science and the Baltimore Visitors Center and near the Metro and Light Rail as well. Discount parking is available at the Intercontinental Harbor Court Hotel at the corner of Light and Lee Street.
    What type of entertainment is offered?
    Sit back and relax on one of the climate-controlled decks. Dine on the bountiful buffet. Take in the sights from the open-air rooftop deck. Then kick it into high gear as the DJ spins popular dance hits.
    Is the ship wheelchair accessible?
    Yes. The ship can accommodate wheelchairs for boarding and provides a handicap-accessible restroom. Please notify Cloud 9 Living of any special-assistance members in your party prior to the cruise so you will be provided with appropriate assistance upon arrival.
    Is gratuity included in the price package?
    Gratuity is not included in the package price and is suggested for all on-board purchases and outstanding service.
    How is seating arranged on board?
    The ship features cabaret-style seating. The majority of the tables accommodate four to eight people and guests are sometimes seated with other parties.
    Can you tell me a little about the ship?

    The cruise ship is spaciously designed with three climate-controlled interior decks, outdoor strolling decks at the bow and stern, and the largest outdoor patio deck in Boston topside. It is handicap accessible and Coast Guard approved for up to 600 passengers. Amenities include full-service bars, two dance floors (or staging areas), spacious bathrooms, flexible seating arrangements and huge, panoramic windows.

    What if it rains?
    This experience takes place indoors and will not be affected by weather conditions.

    Returns
    Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days.  All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.

    Exchanges
    Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Cloud 9 Living.

    Cancellation Policy

    Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given but rescheduling your dinner cruise is allowed up to 72 hours prior to your boarding time. Rescheduling is subject to a $25 per person transfer fee. Failure to appear on your booked date, cancel, or reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.

    “We initially did not purchase window seats for this dinner cruise. On the day of the event, I called up to upgrade to window seats and I was told we could not upgrade to window seats but that there were 8 different window seats available and that we should arrive early if we wanted our seats to be upgraded to window seats. We were one of the first people on the boat and I requested that the person seating us upgrade our reservation to window seats. He said that we were the first group requesting this and that if a window seat was open, we would be the first group (we were only 2 people) upgraded. After we were seated at our non-window seats, another couple came on and, even though they were directed to their non-window seats, they move and took the available window seat. The same person that told us that we would be the first group upgraded to window seats went over and moved the other couple from the window seats and made them sit at their non-window seats - which were ironically right next to us. No one was ever seated at the available window seats during general boarding. After boarding was completed, the other couple was moved to the window seats and we were never offered window seats. I feel this was wrong for three reasons. First, the person seating everyone promised us that if anyone was upgraded to window seats, it would be us because we were the first group that requested an upgrade. This company's representatives should not be making promises that they don't keep. Second, the other couple tried to take the table with window seats without asking anyone. While they were initially stopped, they eventually got the window seat (over us) even though we properly requested (and we were promised) the window seats. So your company is rewarding them for trying to take the seats themselves and penalizing us for trying to obtain the window seats the proper way. Third, I hate to say that race was a factor in this, but the person seating people and the people that were seated at the window seats were of the same race. Neither I, nor my companion, were of that race. Your company should not be favoring one race over another.”

    Hi there Irene and Steven,  I want to apologize for any disappointments experienced on your Dinner Cruise, and thank you for bringing this to our attention and sharing your experience!  I spoke with the cruise line regarding your reservation, and the request for a window seat. Customers are welcome to upgrade their reservation to a window seat directly through our cruise partner. They did informed us that the only way to guarantee a window seat is through the purchase of the window seat upgrade. I cannot speak to the conversation you had when discussing the window seating, but we do appreciate you letting us know, and will work with our partners to provide more clarification for guests wanting to upgrade their tickets. We are incredibly sorry if this was not clearly communicated, and if someone incorrectly advised you that an early arrival would equate to a window seat.  While it is worth asking for, last minute window seating is not guaranteed without purchase of the upgrade, and is, as you mentioned, first come first serve depending on availability. Our partners let us know that while the crew on board does aim to accommodate all requests, there may have been multiple requests to various crew members that day which led to a bit of confusion as to which customers were the primary request.  Our cruise partners are usually so wonderful, and we are very sorry that the request was not addressed as promised. They work diligently to serve all guests with excellence, and extend their apologies if this was not the case on your cruise.  Additionally, it seems that there may have been some over-eager guests aboard that were willing to break the rules to snag different seating. We appreciate your cooperation with the crew members, and for being so courteous to other guests.     “Okay. They need to tidy up the ship inside. Second floor not used but for a couple of games and walking through to get to top deck. That is okay but should make it presentable. Doors open where things are stored. Extra chafing dishes laying around.”

    “It is quite unfortunate that I have to leave this review. The customer service at Cloud 9 was exceptional, however, after that the experience goes down hill as fast as an avalanche. As you enter the cruise there are staff there pushing costly picture. After boarding dinner begins. The food was just horrible. Mushy vegitables, dry chicken, tasteless fish, powdered mashed potatoes. Even the salad was limp. The music was too loud and catered to a very young hip-hop crowd. We were so unimpressed that I wanted to get off before they even left port. My husband wanted us to stick it out for the sake of our anniversary. We did, only because the people who sat next to us were good company. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Lowe. I would not recommend this cruise to anyone.”

It was also advertised on Cloud 9 and on the email as a 3 hour cruise when it was actually only 2 hours. This made us a little disappointed right from the start. The food was not that good either. I feel like it was not worth the money that was spent. ”
