The expertly restored Texan was once equipped with guns and bomb attachments and saw service with the Mexican Air Force at one time during its military service during WWII.

During the flight you can choose to take the controls of this historic WWII advanced trainer and enjoy your own personalized flight training experience. Each flight is customized based on your input and experience.
Your pilot/flight instructor will explain and demonstrate the operation of the aircraft and guide you through various maneuvers at your pace. Each flight will also include aerobatics if requested. Soaring above the beautiful Northern Virginia landscape you will be able to experience what it was like flying a fighter during WWII. Upon completion of your flight you will receive documentation of your flight training. Bring your pilot logbook if you have one or we can furnish a complimentary flight record.
Choose between 3 fantastic flight options:
30-Minute entry level training sortie: Enjoy approximately 30 minutes of flight training in this historic aircraft. Your flight will be customized on your input and experience. Sit back and relax and enjoy the views while your pilot describes and demonstrates the operation of the aircraft or you can choose to take the controls for a bit and experience some hands-on flying if you desire. Your flight can also include a few aerobatic maneuvers if requested.
45-Minute extended training sortie: Enjoy approximately 45 minutes of flight training in this historic aircraft. This flight includes everything you would experience in the 30-minute flight option while giving you just a little more time to either take in the sights and experience flying in this magnificent aircraft or a little more time to take the controls and fly the plane if you wish. This flight can also include some aerobatic maneuvers if requested.
60-Minute full length training sortie: This deluxe 1-hour flight option gives you the full-length WWII flight training experience. Your pilot/instructor will customize this experience based on your input and experience. You can choose to sit back and relax and just enjoy the views while your pilot describes and demonstrates the operation of the aircraft or this flight gives you plenty of additional time to take the controls and do some flying for the ultimate hands-on flight experience. It is your choice! This flight can also include aerobatic maneuvers if requested.
